FIXTracer processes FIX logs on your machine.

Local CLI processing and report files

The Technical Preview has no upload service. It has no hosted parser for real or internal logs.

HTML reports and packed JSON can contain FIX fields, identifiers, account-like values, proprietary fields, venue fields, and trading activity. Use the same storage and sharing rules as the source logs.

• Use only machines and directories approved by your organization.
• Apply redaction where appropriate. Free reports are redacted, but redaction does not guarantee anonymity. Review files before any approved sharing.
• Store reports and packed JSON only in approved locations. Follow your data retention policy.
• Delete working copies securely when they are no longer needed.

Public examples, screenshots, and demos use test data, not customer or production data.

Website visits

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request information, such as your IP address and request metadata, to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from local CLI processing. Cloudflare may retain operational and security logs under its privacy policy.

The website code adds no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies. The sample HTML report can remember its timeline sort preference in browser storage.

Email feedback and support

Email links open your email application. If you send a message, FIXTracer and the email providers that deliver it receive your sender address, message, and any attachments. We use this information to respond to feedback and support requests. The CLI does not collect or send it automatically.

Do not send or attach production logs.
